Color it - create it - show it off! December reminder 2021

Hey Everyone! 

Wow, where has the time gone, can not believe we are into the middle of December already.  So its time to remind you all of the monthly challenge running over on the Color it - Create It - Show it off blog whereby as usual anything goes, for more details or to enter click here.

   

For these projects I used My Besties Phoenix Ray 'Plushie Collection' Doll 25 digi stamp which can be purchased by clicking here.  I made these cards for two little girls born on the same day a year apart but also have uncommon names that not likely to find cards with their name on.


Firstly I started by printing the two images on an A4 piece of paper, and then coloured both images using my triblend brush pens I then decided to round the corners of one of the toppers and on the other add a dash line detail around the outside using a black fine-liner.  


For both cards I used 8 by 8 card blanks, which I then added a background layer of paper from DoCrafts Papermania birthday range in different colours to each card. I adhered the topper images with double sided tape to the relevant cards. Using my letters and numbers dies from Time for Tea designs I then cut out the ages and letters needed for the names; I used foam tape to position these onto the cards.

TLC Designs - two cards completed

Hey all! Hope you are all well.  So today I wanted to share two cards I've made using a new company to me (TLC Designs), which I happened to stumble across; the cards are using the company's digital products while I await arrival of my stamps and dies. As with the majority of my blog posts you can find a list of the products used along with a link to them at the end of this post. Pumpkin Gnome Card So firstly for the first card I printed the digital image of the gnome out and then coloured the image using Crafters Companion Spectrum Noir Triblend brush pens, before cutting the image out. Piggin' Skipping Slider card

Hey everyone,  So today I wanted to share a penny slider card that I've made using Time for Tea Designs Workout pigs. Firstly I cut a piece of laminate wood effect paper measuring 148mm by 63mm and a piece of silver mirror card to 148mm by 84mm.  Then on the wood effect paper I placed the larger slider element die from the hooray hamsters set roughly in the centre before then running it through my Gemini machine.   The idea was to have a pig skipping moving with the slider element, therefore the next step was to colour the pig and skipping rope handles using Spectrum Noir Triblend brush pens and then adhered to skipping rope to the pigs trotters using Gert's glue. Next I stuck down the silver mirror card panel to the top of a 6 by 6 black card blank. Putting together the slider element you need a penny (well any coin will do but a penny is the cheapest), then I stuck 4 square foam pads across the coin and then stuck another row on top given it slight dimension.  I chose to use

Colour it - Create it - Show it off! March Challenge Reminder

Hey all! So here we are half way through March already and just wanted to remind you to enter into the challenge where as usual it is anything goes, to enter and for more information  click here . Absolutely loving the images I've been able to play with this month on the design team, so much I've made another 2 cards.   So starting with the card on the left the more complex of the two I would say. Firstly I downloaded the digi stamps and printed four images onto a sheet of A4  Color copy 160gsm pape r, which I then cut up to individual toppers.  Using Spectrum Noir Triblend brush pens I coloured in the one of the images, deciding to give the fairy a tanned colour to her skin along with a orange dress and accessories.  I used a spectrum noir clear sparkle pen to go over the fairies wings to give them a sparkle and coloured the bug's wings with a spectrum noir sandstone sparkle pen.   I cut down an A4 piece of super smooth card suitable for alcohol markers to give me a 6 by 6
